The Ecology Retreat Centre offers two very distinct meeting spaces which are available for rental.  Our packages can be tailored for half day or full day rentals for special events such as corporate team building, office parties, holidayparties, baby or bridal showers, various groups and more. Our Chef offers seasonal, wholesome delicious meals so that you can offer your participants a buffet style lunch or dinner served in our Dining Hall.

Rates

Our packages are available year round for bookings with minimum 15 people

 

Lunch Packages include:

 

  • The use of the meeting space for 6 to 8 hours (ex. 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.)
  • The space set-up prior to your arrival according to your specifications.
  • A buffet style lunch including soup, salad, a lunch entree and dessert as well as coffee and tea throughout the day.
  • Lunch packages are $39 per person plus tax.

 

Dinner Packages include:

 

  • The use of the meeting space for 6 to 8 hours (ex. 5pm until 11pm.)
  • The space set-up prior to your arrival according to your specifications
  • A buffet style dinner including soup, salad, a dinner entree and dessert as well as coffee and tea throughout the day.
  • Dinner packages are $49 per person plus tax.

 

Our standard fare is vegetarian but meat options are available for a supplemtal charge of $5 per person.  Please contact us for a selection of our delicious menu items

The Creekside Room is a newly renovated 1,000 square foot space located adjacent to the Dining Hall. Clerestory and picture windows and a cathedral ceiling give this room an abundance of natural light  and space.  A wood-burning fireplace and plenty of dimmable lighting offer the perfect ambience for evening events too. Two glass doors open to a deck facing trees and the creek, allowing for the soothing sounds of the brook in the background and creating an ideal spot for a scenic break-out space during

warmer months.

The Meeting Hall is a stand-alone building nestled hillside at the edge of the forest and along side a babbling brook. Plenty of windows allow fresh forest breezes, dappled sun light, and calming views. The subtle sounds of nature in the background are an added bonus to this space's soothing, private setting... a choice meditation environment.

 

Perfect for groups requiring a substantial beverage and snack service area, this open, 24 x 44 foot (1,056 sq ft), carpeted space with adjacent 15 x 15 foot kitchenette can easily host up to 70 persons for a seated conference or workshop, and up to 30 to 50 for activities requiring more movement, such as dance, drumming or physical therapy lessons. A wood stove and the option of ambient lighting can provide an ideal informal reception venue or ultra-casual, cozy gathering space. The space can easily be set up according to your needs with tables, chairs and cushions arranged according to your requirements and with flipcharts, whiteboards, projectors and more you will have everything you need for a succesfull event.

 

If exercise or self-reflection is part of your group's program, it is just steps from the Meeting Hall to begin a contemplative stroll or invigorating hike on our trails.

 

The Creekside room can fit up to 60 for seated conferences, workshop or dinners, up to 50 for activities requiring more room to move about, or up to 85 for a mix-n-mingle reception. The space can easily be set up according to your needs with tables, chairs and cushions arranged according to your requirements and with flipcharts, projectors, whiteboards and more you will have everything you need for a succesfull event.  For refreshment breaks water, tea and coffee are available in the Dining Hall or can be set up right inside the room.

 

Groups may access the Dining Hall for their beverage and snack needs or request a set-up in the Creekside Room.
